Cucumber Salad (Vegan)

凉拌瓜条liáng bàn guā tiáo

Ingredients

1 medium cucumber

2 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp minced garlic

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black vinegar

1 pinch sugar

Prep Ingredients

  1. Wash cucumber (peel if you want - sometimes the skin can be bitter).

  2. Cut cucumber in half lengthwise.

  3. Cut each half into 3-4 sections about 2 inches long.

  4. Cut each section into 4 strips.

  5. Mince garlic (optional - if you hate garlic breath, you can leave this out).

Mix It All Up

  1. Add cucumber to a bowl.

  2. Add salt, garlic, and sugar to the bowl.

  3. Mix well.

  4. Add sesame oil and vinegar (optional - we like a little sour taste, but up to you!).

  5. Mix well and serve!
